Enamel doesn’t last

First - a shoutout to the people of the company…they are responsive and work with you to make sure you are satisfied. Great customer service!! But, product wise, I’m not as happy. I ordered this in 14k. When I first got it, I was happy. The folks at Elegant Medical let me know they typically don’t stock the higher end items, but their vendor was getting it to them to engrave/send. It was a little thinner than I expected, but it also had a nicer bangle than pictured, so overall I was pleased. Unfortunately, after only having it about three months, the enamel started bubbling and peeling. It feels like a rubber substance. I looked it up and it sounds like this is a “cold” enamel and not a real enamel, which is glass that is heat-fused to metal. I wasn’t hard on this necklace. I rarely even wore it in the shower and it was never exposed to harsh chemicals (like wearing it in a pool or something). So, I can’t explain it not lasting. I will not get a replacement or another pendant with this kind of enamel. Instead, I’ll likely keep this one or order another similar one without enamel. If the non-enameled ones are as thin as this, I guess I’ll just keep this one and hope the remaining enamel peels out soon because right now it looks awful.
