Our insulin cooling and insulating case makes it easy to travel with temperature-sensitive medicines-- no ice packs or refrigeration required! Simply immerse the inner pouch in cold water, dry it and go. Medications stay cool for over two days. Just soak again in cold water to reactivate. Also provides insulation against the cold of winter, which is important as insulin will loose potency if frozen. Tucks easily into any purse or day bag. Ideal for either two vials (with syringes) or two insulin pens.

Now you can keep your insulin cool and safe when you travel - even in hot climates. Place it in the Frio Insulin Travel Wallet at the manufacturer's recommended temperature, and it will stay within acceptable temperature limits for several days (without refrigeration) before the wallet needs to be re-activated.

How It Works:

To activate your Wallet, simply immerse in cold water for several mins. Crystals contained in the panels of the Wallet expand into a gel-like substance and remain in this form for several days. Once sufficiently activated, remove from water and wrap in a towel to absorb excess water. Remove from towel (your Wallet is now dry to the touch) and let it lay on a surface to begin to air dry for a minimum of 20 mins. After air-drying the Wallet can be placed into the Cambrelle™ cover and your medication can be inserted. The crystals contained in the panels of the wallet expand into a gel form, which remain cool for several days, relying on the process of evaporation for cooling.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has scrutinized the Wallet and their crystals and the sale has been approved in the United States. Also has been extensively tested by the British Medical Devices Evaluation Unit. The results of these tests show that the crystals conform to the relevant British Safety Standards and that the Wallets have the ability to keep insulin at acceptable limits for a period of 45 hours in a constant environmental temperature of 100°F (38.8°C.)
